The Challenge
The Program of work involved complete product development lifecycle from Discovery Phase through to implementation for the Provider Portal redevelopment.
The solution includes a Microsoft SharePoint based portal for over 40,000+ users (internal and external to agency) to provide timely communication, documents and collaboration platform for the subscribers. Migrating content from their existing SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2016 on-premises.
As part of this project, we conducted a discovery phase initially to review their current SharePoint 2010 environment to recommend an upgrade. It is a critical step and will provide us with details to make informed recommendations for the upgrade effort, critical factors, inclusions and to prepare an accurate build activities. Our discovery aligns our team with our customers’ needs at the outset. The activities and deliverables of project Discovery are integral to accuracy of project estimation and planning, and we recommend that they always be completed for any upgrade project with unknown and variable technical components.
After the discovery phase Prometix developed the end-to-end solutions to deliver quality outcome to 40,000+ users.
The Solution
Prometix designed, developed and deployed the extranet portal solution for 40,000 users leveraging Microsoft SharePoint. And migrate the 180GB odd data to SharePoint.
